Common Official Spanish
In Spain, the most common official Spanish language exams for foreigners are administered by the Cervantes Institute. Here is a list of some of the most well-known exams
DELE
(Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language): These diplomas are internationally recognized and are divided into various levels, from A1 (beginner) to C2 (advanced). The most common levels are A2, B1, B2, and C1.
CCSE
(Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain): This exam assesses knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and Spanish society for obtaining Spanish nationality.
DELE Escolar
These exams are designed for younger students and are divided into three levels: A1, A2, and B1.
siele
(International Service of Evaluation of the Spanish Language): Although not specific to Spain, SIELE is a Spanish language exam that can be taken in many countries and is based on a scoring scale similar to DELE.
